Job Description
As a Mobile Scale Clerk, you will be responsible for monitoring incoming and outgoing material shipments, ensuring accurate weighing of materials, issuing weigh tickets, and providing courteous and efficient customer service. You will be required to work at various AIM sites across Quebec, particularly in the Montreal region, from Estrie through to Victoriaville.
What you’re responsible for:
- Providing a courteous customer welcome while following established procedures and requirements;
- Processing the opening of new customer accounts;
- Weighing materials and communicating current metal prices to customers;
- Completing delivery tickets in the system;
- Processing customer payments;
- Managing incoming calls and redirecting them as needed;
- Preparing shipping documentation and ensuring follow-up on material shipments.
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have at least one year of experience in customer service or a similar role.
- You have experience in the transportation industry or knowledge of metals (an asset).
- You are proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
- You are known for your attention to detail, thoroughness, and honesty.
- You are resourceful and able to work independently.
- You are comfortable performing basic calculations.
- You are able to manage multiple tasks at once and adapt to different work environments.

Additional information
- You will work 100% on the road, at different sites depending on operational needs.
- Daily travel is required, with the possibility of hotel stays (up to 1 week).
- Your base site will be the AIM location closest to your home.
- You must have a valid driver’s license.
