Job Description

AIM is currently looking for a Laborer – Non‑Ferrous Receiver for its Sept‑Îles site, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Under the supervision of the Supervisor, the selected candidate will be responsible for receiving and sorting non‑ferrous materials, as well as verifying their compliance. They will contribute to the site’s daily operations and carry out various handling‑related tasks, in addition to performing any other related duties.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Sorting different types of non‑ferrous metals
  • Classifying non‑ferrous materials and identifying material types
  • Weighing material
  • Operating the forklift
  • Performing daily maintenance
  • Carrying out general site upkeep
  • Keeping property and equipment in good condition
  • Cleaning the workspace at the end of the shift
  • Entering data into the RECY system
  • Offering prices to customers
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Assisting with torch cutting when needed
  • Preparing shipments and receiving material
  • Wearing personal protective equipment

Qualifications
