Job Description

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Trois-Rivières, QC. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Mobile Equipment Operator is responsible to carry out the various loads of material requiring the use of a loader. 

What you're responsible for:

  • Driving and manoeuvring the loader to load and move vehicles to appropriate areas
  • Removing rows of vehicles and ensuring access and maintenance of the yard, for our customers
  • Crushing vehicles
  • Performing inspections prior to use of all equipment
  • Ensuring the maintenance and servicing of the loader and the press
  • Marking cars for control and inventory purposes
  • Loading crushed vehicles into delivery trucks
  • Performing forklift task when necessary
  • Helping customers transport heavy parts to their vehicle
  • Perform labourer tasks when all the loader tasks are completed (ex: depollution, removing rims from tires, daily support)

Qualifications

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • You have previous training and/or experience as a loader operator (preferred)
  • You are able to drive and operate heavy vehicles
  • You are able to demonstrate safe behaviour in accordance with health and safety standards
