Job Description

What you're responsible for:

  • Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.
  • Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
  • Inputting and accessing inventor data through a computerized maintenance management information system utilize computer to troubleshoot records for inventory control.
  • Performing administrative functions such as typing, filing, and maintaining detailed records.
  • Compiling, classifying, collating, and organizing information. Maintaining electronic, paper records and reports. Maintains inventory control.
  • Ensuring coordination of activities to meet department objectives.
  • Providing clear spoken and written information to supervisors and managers regarding the status of situation or orders. Answering inquiries about the maintenance/inventory management system or procedures.
  • Cooperating with peers, managers and operations personnel and act as a liaison between other employees and departments when it comes to physical inventory or parts and supplies.
  • Tracking and issuing safety PPE supplies to department leads via assigned department storage spaces.
  • Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintaining and updating records of purchase order, pricing reports, and inventory records.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an inventory clerk, stock clerk, or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and databases.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move inventory as needed.
