Job Description

AIM-Recyclage is currently looking for a transport and scales clerk to replace maternity leave, for its Amos site. Under the responsibility of the site director, the balance and transport clerk plays an essential role in the functioning of the department. He or she supports his or her group in administrative, planning, transportation and customer service areas.

  • Perform the opening and closing of daily activities;
  • Greet customers with courtesy by following our procedures and requirements;
  • Direct customers to the site;
  • Answer phone calls and redirect them as needed;
  • Inform customers of the current metal prices;
  • Weigh the material;
  • Make delivery notes in the RECY software;
  • Pay customers;
  • Prepare shipping papers;
  • Ensure the tracking of shipments of materials;
  • Balance the cash register at the end of the day;
  • Communicate relevant information with the recipient;
  • Take care of truck distribution;
  • Perform reports;
  • Perform other related duties.

Qualifications

  • DES or DEP in secretarial work;
  • Has two (2) to three (3) years of experience in customer service;
  • Excellent command of MS Office tools (Excel, Word);
  • Experience in the transportation industry (a major asset).
