Job Description
Reporting directly to the Operation Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the customer service function and the logistics/procurement control function of the plant.
o Preparing quotations to customers;
o Customers’ orders fulfilment;
o Handling of customers’ VMI (Vendor Management Inventory);
o Order entries into plant’s ERP system;
o Execution of shipments to customers (packing/palletizing, generation of invoices & delivery orders);
o Liaison with shipping agents (truck drives, forwarders);
o Sourcing of new suppliers and shipping agents
o Assist Operation Manager in DG shipment;
o Preparation of production materials purchasing plan and issuance of orders to materials suppliers;
o Monitoring of suppliers committed deliveries schedules;
o Assist Operation Manager in preparation of the weekly/monthly production plan for the plant;
o Handling import and export documentations;
o Assist in filling reports required by LMW (Local Manufacturing Warehouse)
Qualifications
o Education: Minimum SPM. STPM / Diploma (added advantage);
o Experience: Minimum 3 years (preferably in manufacturing environment but not a must)
o Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Supply Chain;
o Knowledge in LMW status / Customs procedures
o Computer skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Power Point). Experience in large ERP system (SAP/Oracle) is preferred.
o Language Skills: Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage;
