Job Description

·        

  • The key responsibilities of the role of renovations finance and billing operations include the following:
    • In collaboration with the business unit team leaders, prepare and submit Client invoicing and vendor payment requests for Altisource’s Renovation Business, including receivables monitoring and cost oversight on a project basis
  • • Ensuring proper controls, records and supporting documentation are in place for client invoicing and vendor payments
    • Preparation of weekly and monthly construction revenues and costs based on the renovation project by project progress reporting
    • Working with the Accounting team on all audit processes, assisting them with all the required supporting documents
    • Support internal customers by providing accurate information in a timely manner in particular supporting the BU’s compilation of margin reports on renovation projects
    • Ensuring the team meets all the SLAs.

     

    Key Result Areas:
    • Ensure completion of day-to-day transaction invoicing and reconciliations
    • Drive month end close and reporting within 2 business days as part of the month end process
    • Ensure timely compliance with invoicing and renovation policies and procedures
    • Ensure timely response are provided to any disputes related to client or vendor invoices in collaboration with the business unit team leads
    • Ensure timely completion by supporting internal and external audit and accounting teams various statutory and internal audits and applicable SOX cycles per management deadlines

    Qualifications

    Skills, experience and qualifications:

    The candidate should be a Graduate:
    • Should have 2-3  years of post-qualification work experience, ideally including construction or real estate
    • Proactive and deadline-conscious
    • Requires professional expertise in MS office Excel and ideally, powerpoint presentation
    • Smart with good interpersonal and excellent communication skills in English
    • Should possess high energy level, be a self-starter, a good team player, self-motivated and driven to meet the ever-changing demands of a dynamic organization
    • Solid conceptual, problem-solving and analytical skills; readily willing to perform detailed analysis as needed.
