We are looking for a Vendor Account Specialist to be responsible for the strategic vision for their accounts, identifying trends and patterns, and owning the vendor relationships to ensure all client needs are met and areas for improvement are identified to the team.

Job Description

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Coordination – Act as liaison between Operations and Vendor Management Operations on escalated orders, prioritization list, vendor updates, etc.
  • Communications – Excellence in email and phone call response times, conflict resolution, clear and concise conversations.
  • Problem solver – The ability to solve complex problems using critical thinking.  
  • Work Distribution – Distribute workload between designated Account Managers based on assigned coverage.
  • Project Management – Track items to completion, centralize and compile information.
  • Client Performance Monitoring – Monitor client KPIs, determining opportunities for improvement on vendor performance.
  • And additional duties as determined by client requirements.

Qualifications

WHAT ABOUT YOU? You have...

  • Bachelor’s Degree. 
  • Ability to self-manage, demonstrate effective and positive results with large amounts of autonomy plus an extraordinary ability to work as a team.
  • Experience with communicating daily with assigned vendor network on pending orders, past due orders, re-allocation of work due to client requirements.
  • Comfortable with Power Point and Excel, with ability to succinctly establish a story and provide visual analysis through the creation of professional level decks, use of pivot tables and create visualizations by use of data.
  • Must work well under pressure, be able to juggle many projects simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal skills, including meeting management, verbal and written communication and organization/prioritization skills.
