As an Open Source Developer, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative applications where mapping, geolocation and software engineering come together to deliver high value-added solutions.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team of analysts, architects and developers, and actively participate in the evolution of platforms and technical projects.

Job Description

  • Develop high-performance, user-centric applications using Java, Spring Boot and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the software architecture.
  • Ensure code quality and implement testing throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Be involved end-to-end in technical projects: design, development, integration and optimisation.
  • Analyse and solve complex technical challenges.
  • Maintain an active technology watch in open source development, GIS and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

Technical Environment

  • Back-end: Java, Spring Boot
  • Front-end / GIS: OpenLayers, modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js or equivalent), HTML5, CSS3
  • Databases: Relational and NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks (JPA, Hibernate)
  • Cloud: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure
  • Infrastructure: Linux, NGINX, HTTPD, Docker
  • Architecture: Microservices, REST APIs

Profile Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience with the listed technologies.
  • Strong command of Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue.js, etc.).
  • Strong interest in mapping and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Enthusiasm, professionalism and strong team spirit.
