We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of events from conception through to completion. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all event details including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and decor.
- Develop and manage event budgets ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Liaise with clients to determine event requirements and objectives.
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Create detailed event timelines and manage schedules to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee event setup, operation, and breakdown to maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with clients and vendors.
- Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts.
