Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. This role is responsible for processing transactions accurately while providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while ensuring accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer questions and provide information about products or services
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
