Messa Sync is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Public Relations Assistant to support our communications and outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in crafting the public image of our clients by coordinating media relations, managing press materials, and supporting event planning initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing public relations strategies and campaigns

  • Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, and briefing materials

  • Coordinate interviews and speaking engagements for clients or executives

  • Monitor media coverage and compile reports for internal and client use

  • Support planning and logistics for PR events, conferences, and community outreach

  • Maintain and update media lists and contact databases

  • Liaise with vendors, journalists, and internal teams as needed

  • Research industry trends to support PR strategies and messaging

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

  • 1–2 years of experience in a PR or communications-related role preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong understanding of media relations and public engagement principles
