We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Events Assistant to join our growing team in Madison, WI. The Events Assistant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of brand events, corporate functions, and promotional campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing creative ideas to life through logistics and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of all logistical aspects of events, from planning to execution.

  • Support the Events Manager in scheduling, budgeting, and vendor management.

  • Maintain event timelines and communicate deadlines with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist in on-site event setup, registration, and breakdown.

  • Manage inventory of event materials and promotional items.

  • Prepare and organize documentation for permits, contracts, and event reports.

  • Ensure event deliverables align with brand standards and client expectations.

  • Troubleshoot event issues in real-time and support smooth execution.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience in event coordination, marketing support, or administrative roles.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

  • Flexible to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
