We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Communications Assistant to join our team in Saint Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will support the Communications Department in crafting and distributing internal and external communications, coordinating campaigns, and ensuring consistency across all messaging. This role is perfect for someone with strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and edit internal memos, newsletters, and external communications

  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and promotional materials

  • Coordinate communication initiatives with various departments

  • Maintain accurate communication logs, documentation, and contact databases

  • Support event planning and community outreach efforts

  • Track engagement metrics and help optimize communication strategies

  • Ensure brand voice and message consistency across all channels

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

  • 1–2 years of experience in a communications or administrative support role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
