We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team in New Orleans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ensuring every aspect runs smoothly from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate logistics for corporate, private, and public events
Liaise with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
Manage event budgets and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
Conduct site inspections and oversee event setup and breakdown
Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations
Provide on-site coordination during events
Maintain accurate records and prepare post-event reports
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
