We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team in New Orleans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, ensuring every aspect runs smoothly from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for corporate, private, and public events

  • Liaise with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Manage event budgets and negotiate with vendors and suppliers

  • Conduct site inspections and oversee event setup and breakdown

  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations

  • Provide on-site coordination during events

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare post-event reports

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
