We are seeking a professional and motivated Call Center Agent to join our dynamic team in Kansas City, MO. As a Call Center Agent at Every Word Code, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner

  • Make outbound calls to follow up on customer issues or provide additional information

  • Document all customer interactions accurately in the system

  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer’s complaint and determining the best solution

  • Maintain knowledge of company services, policies, and procedures

  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary

  • Meet individual and team performance metrics and call quality standards

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus

  • Proven experience in a customer service or call center role preferred

  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM software

  • A calm, positive, and professional attitude
