We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Assistant to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, providing support, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to help resolve customer concerns efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional support to customers via phone, email, and in-person.

  • Assist with order processing, account updates, and service inquiries.

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues and fulfill customer requests.

  • Monitor and follow up on pending customer matters to ensure timely resolution.

  • Support the Customer Service Manager with administrative and operational tasks

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Positive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
