Sociaxe is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Public Relations Assistant to join our team in New York, NY. In this role, you will support our PR team in executing communication strategies that enhance brand visibility and strengthen client relationships. You will play an integral part in managing media relations, coordinating events, and maintaining a positive public image for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of public relations campaigns.
- Draft press releases, pitches, and other PR materials.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for clients and team members.
- Coordinate logistics for press events, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media contacts.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling and maintaining contact databases.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other communication tools.
- A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Previous experience in PR or a similar role is a plus but not required.
