We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to join our team in Kansas City, MO. In this role, you will support the execution of public relations strategies, build strong relationships with media outlets, and ensure our clients' messages reach the right audiences effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and promotional materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and media contacts.
- Monitor media coverage and compile reports on campaign performance.
- Support the planning and execution of events, including press conferences and community outreach.
- Research and analyze industry trends to inform PR strategies.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling and coordinating team activities.
Qualifications

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with PR tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
- Previous experience in PR or a related field is preferred but not required.
