Job Description:
Nexmos Design is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for managing internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging, and helping to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the public. You will play a key role in promoting the company’s brand and assisting with the development of various communications strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to promote the company’s brand, services, and values.
  • Create and manage press releases, newsletters, and other internal and external communications materials.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across all communication platforms.
  • Organize and manage events, meetings, and presentations.
  • Respond to media inquiries and help maintain positive relationships with press contacts.
  • Analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and improve strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns and content development.
  • Handle customer inquiries and assist in resolving communication-related issues.

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in media relations, public relations, or corporate communications preferred.
  • A degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
