As an Events Assistant at Nexmos Design, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of events. You will work closely with event coordinators, clients, and vendors to ensure all event logistics are handled efficiently. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think on your feet.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including meetings, conferences, and corporate functions.
- Help manage event timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and all tasks are completed.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist in sourcing and securing event venues, catering, equipment, and other event-related services.
- Set up and break down event venues, ensuring all materials and supplies are properly organized.
- Maintain accurate records of event logistics and budgets.
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Help with post-event evaluations and feedback collection.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience in event planning or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is a plus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
