Job Description

The Technical Platform Teams provide the backbone for the infrastructure and operations of the entire Allegro platform. We build and maintain tools, infrastructure stacks and automation systems that empower over a hundred Allegro product teams and the customer support department. Our work spans the full stack, from private data centers and public cloud solutions, through container orchestration and distributed systems, to tools supporting observability and automation. At the same time, we ensure the performance, availability and security of the entire platform.

By joining us, you will shape critical infrastructure at Allegro. You will design and implement highly scalable, distributed systems, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to our monitoring and observability stack, empowering business teams to innovate and deliver value efficiently.

The hybrid work model requires a minimum of one day per week of in-office work (Poznań)

We are looking for people who:

  • Are very familiar with and enjoy administrating systems from the Unix/Linux family

  • Have hands-on experience managing infrastructure in public cloud environments (e.g., GCP, Azure, Terraform)

  • Understand and are able to manage Kubernetes clusters and related tools

  • Have experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, Mimir, Zabbix, etc.

  • Possess strong knowledge of the HTTP protocol and its practical use cases

  • Are skilled in crafting efficient queries for MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB

  • Know at least one scripting language (Python preferred)

  • Understand how distributed systems work

  • Are willing to develop and update their knowledge

  • Know English at B2 level
