The salary range for this position is (contract of employment):

mid: 12 300 - 17 600 PLN gross terms

senior: 16 100 - 23 200 PLN gross terms

The Allegro Ads - Sponsored Offers area deals with the issue of sponsored offers on Allegro (both the website and the mobile app). It enables sellers and advertising agencies to display their offers in the best possible position in listings and carousel ads. In addition, it handles the configuration of AdsExpress ads, counting ad views and clicks, and suggestions of ads to display. The team works closely with other teams within Allegro Ads responsible for configurations and ad budgeting.

We are looking for people who

  • Program in Java and/or Kotlin and are familiar with SpringBoot framework
  • Are familiar with issues related to services based on synchronous and asynchronous communication at large scale (REST, Kafka)
  • Want to be proud of the code they write. Are open to feedback and are willing to share their knowledge during code reviews.
  • Can search for efficient solutions to meet users’ requirements.
  • Are eager to continuously develop their skills and expand their knowledge
  • Know English at B2 level

The following are also a plus

  • Experience with Scala / Spark / GCP technologies (Composer, DataProc, BigQuery)
  • Willingness to grow in the Big Data area

In your daily work you will handle the following tasks:

We are looking for a Back End / Big Data Developer who will be responsible for maintaining and developing microservices (Java/Kotlin, MongoDB) and batch jobs (Scala/Spark/GCP) necessary for Sponsored Offers ads. 

On a daily basis, you will be supported by a team of 1 Front-end developer, 3 Back-end developers, Product Manager and Team Leader.
