Definition of the role:

We are looking for an experienced Vendor Partner that will be responsible in vendor mapping and acquisition to address core automated sourcing needs. You will support Retail Analytics and Tech Teams in facilitating IT integration. Your knowledge of programming and e-commerce business will contribute to development of dedicated tools supporting business processes (e.g. automatic purchase process, price management process). Also in this role you’ll be responsible for ongoing vendor management to ensure fit for use product catalogues are in place to deliver on Retail’s role of addressing price competitiveness gaps on top selling assortment in a timely manner. You will need to ensure there is sufficient volumes availability at adequate prices to ensure delivery of targeted stock rotation and operating margin levels.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Automation of sourcing process
• Supporting Analytics Team in co-defining necessary range of automated tools and process flow
• Ensuring supplier catalogues are correctly mapped in the sourcing tools
• Ensuring different methods of supplier catalogues are available
• Ensuring daily updates of supplier catalogues are performed correctly
• Vendor mapping and acquisition to address core automated sourcing needs (incl. supporting Retail Analytics and Tech Teams in facilitating IT integration)
• Ongoing vendor management within automated sourcing process including: 
• Defining product catalogue adequate to address automated sourcing needs
• Ensuring stock level availability adequate to address automated sourcing needs
• Ensuring targeted sourcing time is delivered
• Ensuring price levels are adequate to address margin targets
• Ensuring purchase volumes are adequate to address stock rotation targets
• Strong collaboration within Retail BU (Analytics, Supply Chain, Offer Development) and across the organization (Commercial Excellence, 3P Commerce, Technology, DEX,  Legal, CEX)

Qualifications we are looking for:

• 3-7 years of experience in vendor acquisition and vendor management within automated sourcing set-up
• Deep understanding of polish Wholesale and Distributor markets in Electronics Industry
• Experience in building and directly managing operational vendor management teams 
• Programming experience (e.g. MS-SQL, T-SQL, Airflowe)
• Experience in on-line Books, Health & Beauty and Grocery Industries will be an additional advantage
• Ability to collaborate and drive alignment on Top Management level with external partners
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Python, GCP or Java, will be an asset 
• Knowledge of Dynamics AX will be an asset
• Exceptional persuasion and influencing skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to challenge status quo
• Strong analytical skills
• IT literacy – ability to participate in discussions regarding software/automated tools development
• Process orientation - ability to understand and operate within complex process set-up 
• Flawless communication in Polish and English (B2)
• Fluent literacy in Microsoft Office
