General Manager Elatos Mountain Resort, Emblems Collection | Parnassos, Greece
- Full-time
- Job-Category: Executive Management & Hotel Management
- Job Type: Permanent
- Job Schedule: Full-Time
Company Description
LAMPSA Hellenic Hotels S.A., one of Greece’s leading luxury hospitality groups, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the pre-opening and operation of Elatos Mountain Resort, a new year-round mountain destination in Parnassos and a member of Emblems Collection by Accor.
Inspired by leading European mountain resorts, Elatos will combine exceptional hospitality with outdoor adventure, wellness, gastronomy, family experiences and nature-led activities throughout all four seasons.
We are looking for a General Manager who combines strong resort operating experience with the imagination and entrepreneurial mindset required to create a destination, not simply operate a hotel.
Job Description
Joining during the pre-opening phase and working closely with LAMPSA and Emblems Collection by Accor, the General Manager will be responsible for:
• Leading the resort through pre-opening, launch and stabilisation
• Building and inspiring a strong leadership and service team
• Creating an exceptional guest experience combining hospitality, outdoor activity, wellness, gastronomy and family experiences
• Developing a compelling four-season activity programme, establishing Elatos as much more than a winter destination
• Building partnerships with local guides, activity providers, producers and destination partners
• Overseeing all aspects of resort operations with an emphasis on personalised service and operational excellence
• Driving commercial and financial performance while protecting the quality of the guest experience
• Working with ownership and Sales & Marketing to build year-round demand
• Developing demand beyond peak season through programming, partnerships and destination experiences
• Positioning Elatos as one of the leading year-round mountain resorts in the Mediterranean
Qualifications
The successful candidate should bring:
• Proven experience as a General Manager, Resort Manager or senior operational leader in a luxury, upper-upscale or destination resort environment
• Strong experience in a mountain, alpine or nature-led resort; experience in a successful European mountain or four-season resort would be particularly relevant
• A strong understanding of year-round resort operations, seasonality and outdoor guest experiences
• An understanding of wellness, active lifestyle, experiential travel and family leisure
• Strong F&B knowledge and an appreciation of destination-led gastronomy
• Commercial and financial acumen combined with a hands-on operational approach
• The ability to build, motivate and retain a strong team
• Experience with chalets, villas or residences would be an advantage
• Pre-opening or repositioning experience would be welcome but is not essential
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Fluency in English and Greek
We welcome candidates from both luxury hospitality and leading destination resort backgrounds, particularly those who understand how to bring together hospitality, outdoor experiences, wellness, gastronomy, family leisure and nature to create a compelling year-round destination.
Additional Information
This is an opportunity to shape a new kind of mountain resort for Greece from its inception.
Elatos aims to reinterpret the successful four-season Alpine resort model for Parnassos and the Greek landscape, creating a destination that attracts guests throughout the year.
The General Manager will have the opportunity to influence the operating model, recruit the leadership team, develop the resort’s experience programme and establish its culture, with the ambition of making Elatos a reference point for year-round mountain hospitality in Greece and the wider Mediterranean.
All applications and expressions of interest will be treated in strict confidence.
