The Role: The Waiter / Waitress is responsible for providing efficient and professional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and service standards within the outlet.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and present menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.

• Input orders into the POS system accurately.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service.
• Ensure special requests and dietary requirements are communicated properly.

• Prepare tables before service (mise en place).
• Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and organized at all times.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently after guest departure.

• Recommend menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Encourage upselling to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.

• Maintain cleanliness of the service area and equipment.
• Follow food safety (HACCP) and hygiene standards.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

• Present bills accurately and process payments when required.
• Handle cash and card transactions responsibly.

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service operations.
• Assist other team members during busy periods.

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain good communication with colleagues.
