Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial strategy across the cluster, with a strong focus on Corporate, Leisure, MICE, Group, Travel Trade, Wholesale and OTA business.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior Sales & Marketing leadership role, preferably within city hotels or a multi-property environment, with strong knowledge of local and international source markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term Sales & Marketing strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy, market share, and profitability.

  • Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, action plans, and overall team performance.

  • Drive business from Corporate, Leisure, MICE, Groups, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, Wholesalers, OTAs and key partners.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, business partners, and industry stakeholders.

  • Identify new business opportunities, source markets, accounts, and partnerships to increase revenue.

  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis and implement appropriate commercial actions.

  • Work closely with Revenue Management to optimize rates, inventory, business mix, group opportunities, and revenue performance.

  • Develop and manage the annual Sales & Marketing budget and action plan.

  • Monitor account production, room nights, ADR, revenue contribution, conversion, and market performance.

  • Lead sales missions, trade events, roadshows, exhibitions, and other business development activities.

  • Work closely with Revenue, Reservations, Front Office, Finance, and Operations to ensure commercial strategies and commitments are effectively delivered.

  • Manage commercial contracts, rates, allocations, payment terms, and key account agreements.

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, market intelligence, and performance updates for hotel leadership.

  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the Sales & Marketing team to achieve business objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with Accor brand standards, commercial guidelines, policies, and procedures.

  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and business ethics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior Sales & Marketing leadership role, preferably in a city hotel or multi-property environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Corporate, Leisure, MICE, Group, Travel Trade, Wholesale, and OTA segments.
  • Proven track record in revenue generation, business development, account management, and achieving commercial targets.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international hospitality markets and key source markets.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, budgeting, and commercial decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel Sales & Revenue systems.
  • Previous experience with Accor or other international hotel brands is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
