Job Description
What you’ll do
Prepare, manage & lead day and evening events, ensuring guests have an enjoyable and care-free event with us.
Working closely together with the Sales team to deliver excellent execution of the events sold by them, to constantly drive returning guests. You’re the critical link between Sales and each successful event.
Whether it’s setting up the space for a day meeting or an evening event – think tables, chairs, lighting, the lot – you’re the one who makes sure every detail is right.
Think outside the box when it comes to improving the department – how we use the space, how we run events, what we could be doing better. We’re always open to new ideas, and yours are part of what makes us better.
From a quick setup and ad-hoc requests, to handling invoices and gathering guest feedback – you’re the constant factor that makes every internal and external customer feel looked after, start to finish.
Manage a lean team, creating an environment where people feel genuinely valued – and where there’s real space for them to grow and develop.
Roll-up your sleeves: small events are ran by yourself. Some last-minute change requests? No worries - you’ll handle it.
Coordinate stock and expenses and manage relationships with our events suppliers and contractors – keeping things running smoothly and cost-effectively.
Take overall responsibility for the health, safety, and security of anyone using the space – guests, team, and yourself. That means their wellbeing and their property.
Champion a pro-active approach in every event, delivering a polished, professional, and energetic experience.
No events happening? You’ll initiate to support Lotti’s restaurant, ensuring our total F&B operations run smoothly. At The Hoxton, we’re in it together.
