Job Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our reservations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling room reservation inquiries and bookings through telephone, email, online channels, and other communication platforms. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide personalized service while achieving hotel revenue and occupancy objectives.

  • Handle room reservation inquiries, bookings, modifications, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Provide accurate information on room availability, rates, packages, and hotel facilities.
  • Maintain accurate guest and reservation records in the hotel PMS/booking system.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to calls, emails, and online booking requests.
  • Upsell room categories, packages, and additional hotel services to maximize revenue.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth guest service.
  • Follow hotel reservation policies and achieve departmental targets for occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Front Office, Reservations, or Sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Professional telephone etiquette and strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
