Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated pastry professional who brings more than just technical expertise to the team. The ideal candidate will be creative, reliable and committed to excellence, with a genuine passion for pastry and a strong work ethic.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute across a diverse range of pastry operations, including Conferences & Events, Banquets, À La Carte, Coffee Breaks, Afternoon Tea and other F&B outlets and special events. You’ll play an important part in creating memorable experiences for our guests through beautifully presented, high-quality pastry products.

You’ll bring a strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen management, along with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise production effectively in line with business demands. Creativity and innovation are highly valued, as is a strong focus on consistency, quality and attention to detail.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining high standards while meeting production deadlines. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • A relevant Trade Qualification in Patisserie or Pastry
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced hotel, restaurant or high-volume pastry environment
  • Strong practical pastry skills, with experience in the production and finishing of a diverse range of pastry products
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a genuine focus on consistency, presentation and quality
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a high-performing team
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work efficiently to meet production requirements and deadlines
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, in line with operational requirements
