Hotel Overview:

Located in the heart of downtown Fairmont New Orleans will be an impressive new addition to Fairmont’s luxury portfolio, offering 250 luxury guest rooms, four food & drink venues, a rooftop pool with expansive views of the city, more than 19,000 square feet of function space, and a 10,000 square-foot spa.

This property is destined to become an illustrious destination in the Central Business District, nearby the city’s renowned and historic French Quarter.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas, service corridors, linen rooms, and public spaces. 
• Deliver and replenish linens, towels, guest supplies, and housekeeping amenities throughout the hotel. 
• Support Room Attendants by removing garbage, soiled linens, and recycling from guestrooms and service areas. 
• Respond promptly to guest and colleague requests in a professional and friendly manner. 
• Assist with the movement and setup of furniture, rollaway beds, cribs, and other guest room items. 
• Ensure housekeeping carts, equipment, and cleaning tools are stocked and maintained. 
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost & found items following hotel procedures. 
• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas and support deep cleaning projects as assigned. 
• Work closely with the Housekeeping leadership team and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. 
• Follow all health, safety, and brand standards at all times. 
• Other duties assigned 

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience is considered an asset. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items as required throughout the shift. 
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts. 
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 
• Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
