Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Executive to join our dynamic team in Mysuru, India. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our reservation operations, managing guest bookings with precision while maximizing revenue opportunities. You'll work in a fast-paced hospitality environment where your organizational skills, analytical mindset, and genuine passion for exceptional guest service will directly impact our success. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams while developing your expertise in revenue management and guest relations.

  • Process and manage room reservations efficiently while ensuring accuracy in all booking details and guest information
  • Utilize hotel reservation systems and booking platforms to maintain up-to-date occupancy records and room availability positioning
  • Apply revenue management principles and upselling techniques to maximize room revenues and optimize occupancy rates
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve reservation-related issues with professionalism, discretion, and empathy
  • Maintain and update corporate databases with guest bookings, ensuring guest records are accurate and accessible for future interactions
  • Review guest history and special instructions before creating guest folios to deliver personalized service for regular and VIP guests
  • Prepare and analyze monthly statistical reports, occupancy forecasts, and reservation trends to support strategic planning
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless reservation operations and maintain consistent service standards
  • Apply corporate account numbers and rates according to company policy while monitoring business generated through respective corporate clients
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to reservation associates, providing guidance and support to ensure team efficiency
  • Identify and communicate any operational concerns or opportunities to management that may affect hotel interests
  • Handle additional responsibilities as delegated by management with flexibility and a solutions-oriented approach

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Reservations, Front Office, Guest Services, or related hospitality roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly preferred
  • Strong proficiency with hotel reservation systems, booking platforms, and property management software
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong data entry capabilities
  • Proven ability to handle guest requests with professionalism, problem-solving mindset, and customer service excellence
  • Solid understanding of revenue management principles, occupancy forecasting, and upselling techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret reservation data and generate actionable insights
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Customer service orientation with genuine empathy and commitment to creating positive guest interactions
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor team members while maintaining transparent communication
  • Proficiency in managing corporate accounts and understanding corporate rate structures
  • Flexible approach to work with resilience in handling challenging situations and changing priorities
