Job Description

  • Manage the daily operations of the reservations department.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate reservation agents to ensure high service standards.
  • Monitor room inventory, availability, and booking patterns to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Ensure all reservations are processed accurately and efficiently through the property management system.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
  • Review room allocations, group bookings, VIP reservations, and special requests.
  • Monitor reservation channels, including direct bookings, online travel agencies (OTAs), and corporate accounts.
  • Analyze reservation trends, booking pace, cancellations, and no-show reports.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation and occupancy reports.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, rate plans, and booking procedures.
  • Handle escalated guest inquiries, complaints, and reservation-related issues professionally.
  • Support revenue optimization by implementing approved pricing strategies and promotional offers.
  • Maintain accurate reservation records and guest profiles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reservation processes, efficiency, and guest experience.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation procedures and revenue management principles.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS or similar systems).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
