Job Description
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize hotel occupancy rates, average daily rates (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR)
- Manage room inventory, pricing strategies, and rate positioning across all distribution channels in coordination with the sales and marketing teams
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasting to inform strategic pricing decisions and revenue optimization initiatives
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights
- Oversee the coordination between front office, reservations, and sales departments to ensure seamless revenue operations and guest satisfaction
- Monitor and optimize group bookings, corporate rates, and special packages to maximize revenue while maintaining brand standards
- Assist in the development and execution of annual budgets and financial forecasts for the revenue department
- Train and mentor revenue team members on best practices, systems, and procedures to ensure consistent performance and professional development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, revenue management systems, and hospitality industry standards
- Collaborate with the General Manager and department heads to identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiency improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in revenue management, hotel operations, or hospitality management
- Proven expertise in revenue management systems (RMS) and property management systems (PMS)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
- Demonstrated experience with hotel distribution channels and online travel agencies (OTAs)
- Excellent analytical and financial forecasting skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong understanding of hospitality industry standards, pricing strategies, and market dynamics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights to senior management
