Job Description

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Store items in designated locations using proper storage methods and inventory procedures.
  • Issue materials and supplies to departments based on approved requests and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through timely system updates and stock movements.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess inventory, damaged items, or discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and participate in inventory audits and reconciliations.
  • Ensure proper labeling, arrangement, and identification of stored items.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the storage area.
  • Monitor expiry dates and condition of stock items where applicable.
  • Prepare stock reports, inventory summaries, and movement records.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Finance, and operational departments regarding inventory matters.
  • Ensure all stock transactions are properly documented and approved.
  • Follow company policies, inventory control procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2–5 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory control.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and stock control procedures.
Experience with nventory management software.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
