Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

The Sales Manager at Faena The Red Sea plays a key role in driving revenue growth and 
establishing the property’s presence within the global luxury travel market during the preopening and launch phase. This position is responsible for proactively generating transient,
corporate, and group business within assigned territories and market segments, while 
building strategic relationships that position Faena The Red Sea as one of the region’s most 
sought-after ultra-luxury destinations.
As a brand ambassador, the Sales Manager represents Faena’s distinctive blend of culture, 
lifestyle, wellness, and hospitality, ensuring the hotel is strongly positioned among luxury 
travel advisors, entertainment networks, corporate accounts, and high-value clientele.
This role works closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, and Operations to convert 
opportunities, maximize market share, and deliver a seamless guest journey from enquiry to 
arrival.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


• Develop and execute targeted sales action plans for assigned territories, market 
segments, and accounts. 
• Proactively solicit and generate new business opportunities across transient, leisure, 
corporate, entertainment, and group segments. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, preferred agencies, 
corporate travel buyers, family offices, concierge networks, and lifestyle partners. 
• Represent Faena The Red Sea at international trade shows, roadshows, sales missions, 
networking events, and client activations. 
• Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, and site inspections to secure new business 
and strengthen partnerships. 
• Achieve or exceed individual monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. 
• Work closely with Revenue Management to understand market demand, pricing 
strategy, and pace reports to identify opportunities. 
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, promotions, and lead generation initiatives 
that drive awareness and conversion. 
• Maintain accurate account plans, activity reports, pipelines, and opportunities in 
Delphi / Salesforce CRM systems. 
• Negotiate corporate and consortia agreements in line with hotel commercial strategy. 
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and changing travel patterns within 
assigned territories. 
• Coordinate with Reservations and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of 
client bookings, VIP arrivals, and group requirements. 
• Support pre-opening commercial initiatives including database development, account 
mapping, collateral distribution, and launch campaigns. 
• Foster strong working relationships with Accor Global Sales Offices and relevant 
Ennismore commercial teams to maximize account production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of luxury hotel or resort sales experience in a Sales Manager or 
Senior Sales Executive role. 
• Previous experience within ultra-luxury hospitality, lifestyle brands, or destination 
resorts preferred. 
• Strong network within luxury travel trade, leisure agencies, GCC corporate market, or 
international source markets. 
• Pre-opening experience is highly desirable. 
• Strong understanding of sales strategy, account management, contracting, and 
revenue fundamentals. 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. 
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven mindset. 
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 
• Proficient in hotel systems including Opera, Delphi, Salesforce, Lanyon / Cvent, and 
Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Fluent English and Arabic required.
