Job Description

Learning & Development

  • Assist in developing and implementing the hotel's annual Learning & Development plan.
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and mandatory training programs.
  • Organize and deliver in-house training sessions, workshops, and learning activities.
  • Support the implementation of brand learning initiatives and corporate training programs.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance outcomes.
  • Maintain training calendars and ensure timely communication with participants.

Training Administration

  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and learning reports.
  • Update training matrices and monitor completion of mandatory learning.
  • Prepare monthly training reports and analyze training statistics.
  • Manage training materials, presentations, and learning resources.

Compliance & Brand Standards

  • Ensure compliance with company, brand, and legal training requirements.
  • Coordinate mandatory compliance training, including health & safety, food safety, and other statutory programs.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete training documentation.

Talent Development

  • Assist in identifying high-potential employees and supporting talent development initiatives.
  • Coordinate leadership development programs, mentoring, and succession planning activities.
  • Support employee engagement activities that promote a learning culture.

Collaboration

  • Partner with department heads to conduct training needs analyses.
  • Work closely with Human Resources on employee development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external trainers, learning partners, and corporate L&D teams when required.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Tourism or Hospitality or Business Management
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources roles, with at least 1 year at Supervisory level, Hotel operational experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of local labour laws and employment law requirements
  • Up-to-date on HR trends and practices in the market
