Bartender / Mixologist - F&B

The Bartender / Mixologist is responsible for creating and delivering exceptional beverage experiences across the hotel’s diverse bars, lounges, and dining venues. This role combines technical bartending expertise, creativity, and luxury service standards to craft signature cocktails, elevate guest experiences, and support the property’s reputation for world-class hospitality.

What you will be doing:

Guest Experience & Service

  • Provide engaging, refined, and personalized beverage service to guests in all bar and lounge outlets.
  • Create memorable interactions, anticipate guest preferences, and ensure seamless service that aligns with 5-star luxury standards.
  • Present cocktails with storytelling, professionalism, and attention to aesthetic details.
  • Handle guest inquiries regarding spirits, cocktails, and beverage pairings with confidence and expertise.

Beverage Program & Creative Development

  • Design and update seasonal cocktail menus featuring innovative recipes, premium spirits, and local or artisanal ingredients.
  • Collaborate with Bar and F&B leadership to curate beverage offerings aligned with each venue’s identity and guest expectations.
  • Ensure consistency and quality control of all cocktails served across multiple outlets.
  • Monitor bar mise-en-place, equipment, and product freshness.

Operations & Inventory Management

  • Assist with procurement and sourcing of spirits, liqueurs, garnishes, and specialty ingredients.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure cost-effective usage of bar products.
  • Oversee bar cleanliness, hygiene, and safety practices in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Support stock rotation and minimize waste through efficient production and storage methods.

Training & Team Development

  • Conduct cocktail workshops, tastings, and beverage training for bar and service staff.
  • Mentor bar chefs / bar ambassadors on technique, product knowledge, and luxury guest service etiquette.
  • Ensure all team members can consistently execute signature cocktails and high-level bar service.

Events & Special Programming

  • Participate in hotel-wide events, themed activations, and private functions requiring specialty cocktails or bespoke beverage creations.
  • Lead mixology demonstrations, masterclasses, and guest engagement events.
  • Collaborate with marketing to highlight signature cocktails and elevate the hotel’s bar reputation.

Other Beverage portfolio

  • Experience & Revenue driven approach to every sale and curation.
  • Collaborate & Liaison with Beverage Partners & Vendors to create valued experiences for guest, while gaining enhanced Revenues and Managing costs.
  • Curate special beverage promotions, activations, and beverage led events.
  • Be Inspired with New and Upcoming Beverage Trends, and be up to date with industry trends locally as well internationally. 
  • Manage beverage portfolio across Restaurants, Lounges, Bars, Private Dining & Banquets. 
  • Curate and manage upscale beverage menus, including cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Lead and train a team of bartenders and bar chefs, beverage servers, ensuring top-tier service standards.
  • Oversee daily beverage operations, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Collaborate on exclusive offerings for events, private functions, and VIP guests.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health, and safety regulations.
  • Drive guest satisfaction by delivering tailored, high-quality beverage experiences
  • You generate group and/or event business for Restaurants & Bars and achieve F&B sales targets
  • You define KPIs, create offers, negotiate prices, and close contracts related to Restaurants & Bars
  • You participate in trade fairs, conferences, and promotional events
  • You maintain important contacts, address databases, and business data
  • Create Individual relationships with Corporates, Socials & PSU sector to drive business & business opportunities.  
  • Plan, implement and measure profit enhancement programs by working with the kitchen & Marketing Department. Prepare & submit post-mortem promotion report to F&B Manager upon completion of promotion
  • Implement and maintain control measures to ensure that food & beverage costs, productivity, labour costs and operating supply costs for the outlet is in line with budget

Team Management

  • Identify and develop team members with potential
  • Constantly monitor team members’ appearance, attitude and degree of professionalism
  • Develop, conduct maintain all staff training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Conduct monthly departmental meetings to provide information to team members, obtain their feedback, rectify operation issues and provide a regular forum for department communication

Your experience and skills include:

  • Relevant experience in F&B operations and Mixology, Beverage portfolio is an advantage
  • Relevant experience as a Bartender and / or Team Leader Bar portfolio is an advantage
  • You are focused on guest needs and always remain calm and courteous
  • You are highly responsible and reliable
  • Follow Accor & La Maison standards & applications in day to day operations. 
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Your strengths include interpersonal and social skills, and you work in a solution-oriented manner
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
  • Respond professionally, politely, and efficiently to extraordinary requests and complaints from guests.
  • Responsible and accountable for outlet’s profitability and revenue generation

Qualifications

  • 2/2.5 years in Mixologist / Sommelier / Team Leader role preferably managing beverage management, in luxury hotels or high-end establishments.
  • Certified Sommelier
  • Expertise in mixology, premium spirits, wines, and craftsmanship.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on luxury guest service.
  • Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Luxury hospitality experience is highly preferred.
