**Responsibilities**

Ready to keep things cool? Here's what you'll be doing:

**Daily Operations & Maintenance:**

• Keep all air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment running smoothly and looking great
• Check major air handling units regularly to ensure they're performing brilliantly and filters are spotless
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air handling units and refrigeration equipment according to schedule—think of it as keeping everything in tip-top shape before problems arise
• Monitor temperatures in all refrigerated stores daily and inspect condensing units to ensure everything's functioning perfectly
• Carry out repairs to air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment whenever needed

• Master all workplace safety regulations and follow them meticulously—we take health and safety seriously, and so should you
• Maintain excellent cleanliness at your work area and leave spaces spotless after completing tasks
• Present yourself professionally, especially when working in guest areas

• Champion environmental responsibility by minimising waste, reducing chemical usage, and supporting our sustainability efforts
• Contribute to energy-saving initiatives and help implement decisions that reduce our facility's environmental footprint

**Team Contribution:**

• Pitch in with any additional work required by the Technical Service Department
• Take on any other duties assigned by managers and hotel management to support our team's success

**Qualifications**

• **Education:** Technical high school diploma or vocational qualification
• **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of practical experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration maintenance
• **Computer Literacy:** Required
• **Skills & Training:** Proficiency with standard tools and equipment specific to HVAC systems. Relevant certification (apprenticeship or semi-skilled certification) preferred. Strong technical knowledge of maintenance methods, techniques, and processes required
