Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments across our facilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and a commitment to upholding our organization's cleanliness and safety standards.

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, including offices, common spaces, restrooms, and other facility areas
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and sweep floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with organizational and environmental guidelines
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other restroom amenities
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisory staff promptly
  • Follow all health, safety, and chemical handling protocols to ensure a secure work environment
  • Organize and maintain cleaning supply storage areas
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of housekeeping tasks
  • Respond professionally to requests from staff and visitors
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and completed tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or facility maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a corporate, hospitality, or institutional setting
