Job Description
- Operate Maintain, Repairs and does necessary adjustment for all electrical equipment and systems including Fire Alarm, Motor Control Centers electrical interconnectivity with 3rd party systems.
- Assist Fire Alarm contractors on scheduled maintenance and briefs them on the condition of the equipment.
- Ensures of sufficient stock of spare parts available for the electrical equipment and thoroughly checks the purchased materials for their quality.
- Executes energy saving measures and helps the department to reduce the energy cost.
- Carryout daily checks on Lighting control, Power system, Electrical service rooms (MV/ LV), Energy Meters, Transformer Rooms, Fire Pump Rooms, Room Management System, Water Tank systems, BMS system ensuring and all set parameters as desired for intended operation.
- Familiarizes himself with total layout of the building and estate regarding safety aspects such as isolation points, etc.
- Performs preventive maintenance work on for the electrical equipment and maintains service / history reports.
- Attends to repair and maintain Electrical Service System
- Advises improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system.
- Assists supervisor to prepare spare parts lists for the electrical equipment
- Attends to repair and maintain general mechanical systems.
- Participates in the Hotel Energy Conservation Program.
- Ensures that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept in clean and tidy condition.
- Also to do breakdown service in guest rooms,
- Servicing and maintenance of public area electrical equipments.
- Carries out occasional repair work as required, following specifications and handles any unexpected problems
- Prevents problems from occurring in the hotel's technical installations
- Follows the preventive maintenance program.
- To assist in carrying out monthly inventory of operating equipment.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- To undertake Duties of the Electrical Technician as per the Engineer Duty Roster
