Job Description

We're looking for a Learning and Development Executive to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative training programs that enhance employee skills and drive organizational growth. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative professional who combines organizational excellence with a passion for fostering employee development and creating engaging learning experiences.

  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs aligned with organizational objectives and employee development needs
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across departments
  • Deliver engaging training sessions using various instructional methods, including classroom, virtual, and blended learning formats
  • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring timely course uploads and accessibility for all employees
  • Create customized learning content including presentations, e-learning modules, and training materials
  • Facilitate onboarding programs for new employees to ensure smooth integration into the organization
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback collection, and performance metrics analysis
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to understand business needs and translate them into learning solutions
  • Support employee career development through coaching, mentoring, and personalized learning pathways
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in learning and development
  • Maintain detailed training records and generate reports on program outcomes and ROI
  • Coordinate logistics for training events, including scheduling, resource allocation, and participant management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in training program design, development, and delivery (minimum 3-5 years in L&D or related field)
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE model or equivalent)
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct needs assessments and analyze training requirements
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
  • Experience designing and delivering virtual training programs
  • Knowledge of performance management and evaluation metrics
  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
  • Ability to think innovatively and customize solutions to meet specific organizational needs
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring employees
