Job Description
We are hiring for an Account Director – Government who will be responsible for building and managing strategic relationships across government entities, diplomatic circles, state-owned enterprises, and key national institutions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. This role is instrumental in positioning FAENA The Red Sea as the destination of choice for official delegations, executive retreats, and high-profile gatherings. Acting as a senior commercial ambassador, the role drives revenue across accommodation, wellness, dining, and events, while ensuring every engagement reflects the distinct creativity, discretion, and elevated service synonymous with the Faena brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused on government ministries, embassies, and state-owned entities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders across KSA and GCC markets
- Identify and secure opportunities for official delegations, executive retreats, diplomatic stays, and large-scale events
- Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts with clear revenue targets and performance goals
- Lead negotiations for commercial agreements, partnerships, and long-term contracts
- Coordinate tailored site inspections, presentations, and curated experiences for prospective clients
- Collaborate closely with Events, Operations, and Revenue teams to ensure seamless delivery of all engagements
- Partner with internal stakeholders to uphold privacy standards and ensure readiness for high-profile guests
- Monitor market trends, government calendars, and key events to proactively drive demand
- Maintain accurate account plans, sales pipelines, and reporting within CRM systems
- Represent the brand at industry events, networking engagements, and strategic forums
- Uphold the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and brand representation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in luxury hospitality sales, government relations, or high-level account management within KSA or GCC
- Strong existing network within government entities and institutional organizations is highly preferred
- Experience in ultra-luxury hospitality or similarly high-end service environments is advantageous
- Deep understanding of Saudi business culture, protocol, and relationship-driven sales
- Proven track record in securing and managing high-value accounts
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and cultural intelligence
- Strong commercial acumen with advanced negotiation skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and commercial systems
