Job Description

Position:          Colleagues Accommodation Attendant

Department:    Talent & Culture - Accommodation     

Reports to:       Colleagues Services Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION

 

To utilize education and experience in the efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the physical plant, structure, landscaping, utility services, equipment, fixtures, and furnishings for the staff accommodation.

 

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate with Colleague Services management in regards to possible improvements and increased efficiency.
  • Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance programs for the various systems such as : air-conditioning & electrical, refrigeration, building maintenance including furniture & fixtures, painting, parts renewal & repairs, kitchen and laundry equipment,   plumbing & drainage etc. 
  • Cleans, maintains & upgrade areas of responsibility according to set standards and procedures
  • Co-ordinate/inform Colleague Services management of any disruptions to service of any kind.
  • Attend daily briefing.
  • Always utilize safe work practices, efficient methods, proper preventative maintenance and repair to equipment.
  • Assist during room allocation or inspections before new occupants arrive
  • Develop skills through training and hands on experience.
  • Any additional duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Trade Certificate or appropriate level of hands on experience in area of expertise.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1 year experience or education with work experience in trade.
