Bonjour! Step into a world of refined service and unforgettable dining experiences. As a Food and Beverage In-Room Dining Attendant, you will deliver seamless, luxurious service that ensures every guest enjoys an exceptional in-room dining experience day or night.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, takes pride in presentation and detail, and delivers warm, professional service with confidence and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional in-room dining service, ensuring every order is presented with precision, warmth, and efficiency
- Take guest orders via phone in a professional and friendly manner, offering recommendations and accommodating special requests and dietary requirements
- Prepare trays and trolleys to luxury standards, with a strong focus on cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and discreetly to guest rooms, maintaining a calm and polished demeanour at all times
- Deliver thoughtful, anticipatory service that creates memorable guest experiences
- Embody the art of French hospitality with a positive, professional, and “can-do” attitude
Qualifications
About You
- Physically capable of carrying trays and equipment and navigating service corridors or stairs if required
- Highly motivated with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every guest experience is flawless
- Previous experience in a high-end or fine dining environment is preferred but not essential
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and anticipate their needs
- Consistently professional in appearance and demeanour, proudly representing the Sofitel brand at all times
- Hold a current and valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Flexible and reliable, with availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
