Job Description
Swissôtel Sydney is seeking a passionate and driven Learning & Development Officer to join our People & Culture team. This role plays a key part in supporting the learning journey of our Heartists®, ensuring our teams are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with Accor and Swissôtel brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, deliver, and support learning and development programs across all hotel departments
Facilitate hotel induction programs and mandatory compliance training
Support leadership development initiatives and internal talent development programs
Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and support performance development
Partner with managers to design and deliver effective departmental induction and on-the-job training programs.
Promote a strong learning culture that aligns with Swissôtel’s values and service excellence
Qualifications
About you:
A genuine passion for learning, development, and people growth
Previous experience in Learning & Development or a similar role (hospitality experience highly regarded)
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Confident using learning management systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

This is a Part Time role, based on site in our People & Culture office, working 3 days per week (days are negotiable between Monday to Friday).
