• Inspect, maintain, and test industrial safety equipment such as fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, gas detectors, and safety signage

• Conduct routine safety checks of machinery, tools, and work areas to identify potential hazards

• Assist in implementing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures

• Support emergency preparedness activities including fire drills, evacuation drills, and safety training

• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses, and assist with corrective actions

• Maintain safety inspection records, permits, and compliance documentation

• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by staff and contractors

• Assist in lockout/tagout procedures and safe isolation of equipment during maintenance

• Coordinate with supervisors, safety officers, and contractors to ensure safe work practices

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Industrial Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
