Job Description

  1.  
  • Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Determines work priorities and supplies needed.
  • Stimulates maximum efficiency and productivity of employees.
  • Maintains adherence to the hotel’s policies and safety standards.
  • Prepares the shift schedule.
  • Performs necessary training.
  • Plans details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required and develops a logical approach to correct the problem.
  • Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices and systems.
  • Receives wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from the supervisor and covers emergency and schedules repairs, installation, and electrical inspection work that needs to be performed.
  • Performs work required through knowledge of electrical theory and principles, stationary codes, properties of materials and principles of electrical equipment.
  • Starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Services electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devices.
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains communication cables and power distribution cables.
  • Fabricates parts if not commercially available, using machine and hand tools common to the trade.
  • Takes part in the Emergency Response Teams and, in the event of any emergency,
  • manages and deploys employees in his/her team.
  • To predict that all activities and to be purchased all equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment, to join all activities which is organized to protect biological diversity and shares the responsibilities, shares the individual responsibilities in order to increase environment knowledge and to carry on necessary trainings. To provide minimum consumption currently used all stuffs and equipment (paper, printed out etc.).
  • To implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings in order to save energy inside the facility. To carry on implementing decisions which were taken for saving energy. To predict effects of environment and efficiency of energy on purchased equipment.
  • To implement his responsibilities in order to eliminate and collect waste in a proper way, reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment.
  • To provide carrying chemicals safely, carrying, storing and using in accordance with laws, controlling reducing chemical dirtiness.
  • Carries out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.
  • Carries out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

  • Education: At least a technical high school or vocational diploma
  • Experience: At least 5 years of practical experience required by the job.
  • Foreign Language: Not required.
  • Courses and Training: Not required.
  • Computer Literacy: Not required.
  •  Skills: Expected to use basic tools and equipment related to the job. If necessary, expected to possess certification in the related field.
