Job Description
The Opportunity:
Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa is entering a pivotal moment in its history. For the past seven years, we have established ourselves as a market leader with exceptional commercial performance and a strong, stable financial foundation.
Now, we are evolving. We are transitioning from a successful white-label property into a distinct Lifestyle Deluxe Resort.
We are seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead this evolution. This is an ideal role for a dynamic leader, whether an experienced DOSM or a high-performing Director of Sales ready to step up, who wants to apply their creativity to a property that is already successful but ready to reach new heights.
Your Mission
You will lead the commercial strategy during this rebranding phase. We are looking for a leader who respects the fundamentals of the Maldives market but is not afraid to challenge the status quo to find new competitive advantages.
- Lead the Evolution: You will work closely with the General Manager to redefine our market positioning, moving the resort into the "Lifestyle" luxury segment.
- Unify the Vision: You will bring the Sales and Marketing teams together under one cohesive strategy, ensuring our brand story matches our commercial goals.
- Drive Performance: Building on our strong existing occupancy, you will identify new revenue streams and high-yield opportunities, particularly within the Middle East and luxury leisure segments.

Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For
- A Modern Leader: You are a hands on commercial strategist. You don’t manage from a spreadsheet; you are visible, engaged, and deeply involved in the daily rhythm of the business.
- Creative & Strategic: You understand the traditional Maldives tour operator model, but you are also digital-savvy and ready to implement "out of the box" marketing strategies to drive direct business and brand visibility.
- A Mentor: You are passionate about developing talent. You can motivate a diverse team to achieve ambitious targets while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
- Experienced: Minimum 2–3 years as a DOSM or 5+ years in a senior sales leadership role within a 5 star or luxury resort environment. Maldives experience is highly preferred.
